2025 NECA Convention Recap

Chicago was the place to be for the 2025 NECA Convention! The city's stunning skyline was the perfect backdrop to a weekend jam-packed with informative educational sessions, incredible speakers, and engaging networking opportunities and receptions.

The convention kicked off with an unforgettable Opening Night Reception on Friday, September 12th at the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, an Opening General Session featuring Scottie Pippen on Saturday, September 13th, and a Closing General Session on Monday, September 15th featuring Henry Winkler. Also noteworthy was the celebration of the induction of Jerry McGlynn, of McWilliams Electric, into the 2025 Academy of Electrical Contracting. It was a proud moment shared by all in attendance.

In addition to the numerous planned activities, our chapter co-hosted a joint dinner with the Chicago & Cook County Chapter on Sunday, September 14th at the Adler Planetarium. Performances by Maggie Speaks, The Four Tops, and the Temptations rounded out a star-studded weekend of events. We cannot wait for NECA 2026 LAS VEGAS; hope you will join us!
