ELECTRI International Foundation Member
As a member of the Northeastern Illinois Chapter, you have full access to ELECTRI International, a world-recognized independent organization that provides unbiased, cutting-edge information for the electrical construction industry in partnership with NECA and industry leaders.
IMSCA (Illinois Mechanical & Specialty Contractors Association)
Membership to this Chapter includes membership to IMSCA. Headquartered in Springfield and established in 1967, the Illinois Mechanical & Specialty Contractors Association (IMSCA) represents subcontractors and specialty contractors throughout the state. IMSCA serves as a unified voice for its members, focusing on legislative advocacy, industry education, and collaboration within the construction industry. IMSCA’s mission is to advocate for the interests of Illinois subcontractors. The association actively engages in the legislative process—introducing bills, testifying before committees, and working with agencies such as the Illinois Capital Development Board.
Electric Association of Chicago
Chapter Members have exclusive access to this unique electrical association. The Electric Association, based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, is a nonprofit organization that has served the greater Chicago electrical industry since 1926. It provides professional development through educational programs, career-building resources, and networking events aimed at strengthening the local workforce. In addition to its industry services, the association actively contributes to the community by hosting charitable events such as the Homeless Children's Christmas Party, which supports local shelter families with meals and holiday gifts.
IAEI (International Association of Electrical Inspectors) Sponsorship
The Northeastern Illinois Chapter will reimburse NECA members for their annual membership dues into the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). This is a great way for our members to maintain a relationship with electrical inspectors in their working area.
