Education Incentive Program
The Northeastern Illinois Chapter offers an annual educational incentive structure based on Service Charges paid to the Chapter. In short, you get a Return on Your Investment.
Education Grant Program
As an extension to the Educational Incentive Program, the Northeastern Illinois Chapter offers sponsorship of certain industry-related courses not otherwise offered by NECA or any Chapter-affiliated organizations. The courses approved under the grant program would be education geared for employees of member firms who are actively engaged in the management of electrical construction projects. These courses would typically be more in depth and of greater duration than training seminars; would be applicable to the operations of electrical contracting firms and often available through online or classroom community or junior colleges. Examples of courses covered include those related to BIM (Building Information Modeling), CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and estimating software training.
Event Sponsorship
Members of the Chapter receive exclusive sponsorship benefits to various conferences, events, and meetings to elevate their company employees and support staff. Events include the National Convention & Trade Show, NECA Now or Midwest Regional Conferences, Future Leaders, Women In NECA (WIN), Legislative Conference, Safety Conferences, Summer Chapter Meeting, Chapter Sporting Clays and Golf Outing.
